Today's Beautiful Thing is finally having someone open her eyes and stand up. We'd had high hopes for I, and it looked like she was going to disappoint us, but now it looks like she's on board again. Yes!

Good Times

Today's Beautiful Thing is a family birthday party. We had a lovely time at my in-laws' and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Happy Birthday once again, my love.

Bonus Beautiful Thing: The bittersweetness of this being last time we'll see our niece as an only child. My BIL & SIL decided to have a second baby and he's due in 2 weeks. I'm sure she'll be a good big sister (she's a little leader already), but I'll cherish this last memory of her as an only. I loved being an only and I'd wanted it for her too, but it's not her path.

Efficiency

Today's Beautiful Thing is making a list and crossing things off, one by one. I had a Friday work list and a Friday home list and was able to complete both of them. Yeah me! Kickass!

Pushing Myself

Today's Beautiful Thing is taking steps to put positive changes into action. It isn't easy for me, but I'm working on it.

TBT's 3rd Anniversary

Today's Beautiful Thing is three years of Beautiful Things I would never have noticed if I didn't have Atticus in my life for those 2 short months. It's amazing that one small dog I knew for such a small amount of time could affect me in such a huge way. It just goes to show you that every life you touch, has meaning. Like ripples on a pond, we touch more people in more ways than we will ever know. Have care.

Thank you Atticus, for sharing those two months with us. I know they were hard ones for all of us, but I wouldn't change a single thing. RIP baby boy and we'll see you on the other side. I love you. xoxo....

Today's Beautiful Thing is friendship. I had such a nice day yesterday and a huge reason for that was because Michele came with me. :) I went to facebook today and she'd already posted her pictures from the shower and said she'd had a nice time too. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy.

Bonus Beautiful Thing: Mom was there too. I love having my mom with me at my hubby's family functions. :)
