TEAM EDRA!!!!

Today's Beautiful Thing is family. My sister-in-law was hospitalized this evening. Seeing her surrounded by family (including her in-laws, who had a much longer drive than we did) was a Beautiful thing indeed. Everything is going to be ok. I know it is.

Today's Beautiful Thing is compassion. I attended a fundraiser for my cousin's husband's cousin with my husband & best friend. The outpouring of love & support from so many people whose lives she's touched was a Beautiful thing indeed. Go Jenn! Kick some cancer ass!

Teamwork

Today's Beautiful Thing is teamwork. We had a huge project at work today and we all pitched in and got it done. :)

Time

Today's Beautiful Thing is spending time together. The Hubby & I have been enjoying the new Fall programs on TV the last couple of days.

Today's Beautiful Thing is our new(ish) ottoman. It is so nice to be able to come home from a long workweek and put my feet up. I have no idea why we waited nearly 20 years to get one!

Todays Beautiful Thing is freshly colored hair. It's a mini-project every 7 to 8 weeks, but I sure feel good when it's done!

Stress-Free

Today's Beautiful Thing is getting all my work done on the most stressful day of the week. I got everything done on time and then sat down with a coworker and ate lunch. I could get used to this. :)

Today's Beautiful Thing is Michelle Obama. Her speech at the DNC tonight was nothing short of awesome! The best speech by anyone -- not just a Frst Lady -- I have ever heard. Michelle is Beautiful indeed & I am so proud that she is my First Lady!

Today's Beautiful Thing is the Orange International Street Fair. We headed straight for Greek Street just like we do every year. Unlike every year, we bought extra this time! Woo hoo! Gyros for din-din this week will be Beautiful indeed!
