Sleeping In

Today's Beautiful Thing is a few extra winks. After a couple of weeks of 6 hour nights, I slept a full 8 1/2 hours! I woke feeling refreshed and happy. I forgot what that felt like. :) I like it!

Pizza! Pizza!

Today's Beautiful Thing is a new Little Caesar's Pizza very close to our house. While I am a fan of the Baby Pan! Pan!, sometimes you just gotta have a $5 Hot n' Ready! Especially in this economy. Add a green salad and you're all set. :) Cheaper than the dollar menu.

Getting Better

Today's Beautiful Thing is Lulu. We went to the vet today and he said her leg is looking better. She's walking on it almost all the time and putting more weight on it when she does. She's been in pain for so long, it's a beautiful thing to see. I'll never take walking for granted again. Yay Lulu!

Silver & Gold

Today's Beautiful Thing is having an old friend find you on the net. I've been in contact with old high school friends in the last couple of weeks and it's been fun catching up.

Ready to Go

Today's Beautiful Thing is a big pot of meat sauce. After a very busy day at work, it was nice to come home to a dinner I'd already cooked a couple of days ago. Plus, meat sauce always tastes better a few days later. Yum!

Space

Today's Beautiful Thing is ample parking at the college. At my old school, if you didn't get there 2 hours early, you were lucky to get a space. I got there 45 minutes before class and there was lots of parking available! Yay!

Whew!

Today's Beautiful Thing is getting my homework done. And not a minute too soon! I studied most of today and a few hours yesterday. After a couple of computer glitches and a couple of misunderstadnings (between me and the college website) I was able to hit "submit." Thank God. It's due by midnight.
