Today's Beautiful Thing is having nothing to do and three days to do it. I'm so glad we don't have plans this weekend. Slow is the word of the day today & it suits us just fine!

Eight is Enough

Today's Beautiful Thing is working eight hour shifts. It's been so nice not putting in overtime this week. What a difference proper staffing makes!

Sweet Treat

Today's Beautiful Thing is a fresh container of Red Vines licorice a nice person left in the break room. Just the sweet little treat I needed. Yum!

Take Care

Today's Beautiful Thing is someone who cares for you when you're sick. I had a horrible migraine today and the hubby took very good care of me.

Salad Days

Today's Beautiful Thing is having dinner at Souplantation with the hubby on a work night. We never eat out when we have work the next day. It was a fun change of pace. :)

I'm Back

Today's Beautiful Thing is making positive changes. I've been working a lot and cheating myself out of things that give me joy. No more. This blog helped me get through the death & loss of Atticus, but it also brought me a little bit of joy on a daily basis. It taught me to look for small joys every single day and I want to find that joy again. So, here I am! Back to Beautiful Things.
