Tea and rest

Today's Beautiful Thing is the combination of hot tea and sleep. I called in sick today because I felt icky. The tea is making me feel much better. Back to bed!

Dog Park

Today's Beautiful Thing is our local dog park. It's become our Sunday afternoon ritual to take Lulu around 2 PM and stay for a couple of hours. She loves it.

Homecoming

Today's Beautiful Thing is the happiness I felt in my heart when I heard the front door open. My husband worked today (he never works on Saturdays) and I missed him. :) (No. Those are not our doors. I wish they were!)

TGIF!

Today's Beautiful Thing is the weekend in front of me. A lot went on at work this week and having two days off will be very nice indeed.

Today's Beautiful Thing is the simple pleasure of having my nails done. It's always fun to choose a new color and to see what kind of pretty flower or design they will paint on my fingers and toes. (No, those are not my nails, but I did have something similar done with a dark lavender French design and silver trim. My husband requested it.)

Laughter

Today's Beautiful Thing is laughter. I laughed a lot today and it really made the day go by faster. Thanks T! :)
