Today's Beautiful Thing is today itself--Leap Year Day! Just the thought of Leap Year Day makes me smile. Anything that makes me smile with so little effort, is a Beautiful Thing indeed.

Silly Boy

Buffet Today!

Today's Beautiful Thing is the Chinese buffet down the street. It's a little old place that probably hasn't been redecorated since the sixties (we like the kitchiness of it), but there are tons of items I like (I'm picky with my Asian food), the price is right, and I didn't have to cook (the chicken was still frozen). A win-win-win situation. :)

Bully Buddies

Today's Beautiful Thing is having a buddy. Lulu and Ace get along so well now. It's just amazing to watch them together.

Hang Loose

Today's Beautiful Thing is loose-fitting pants. All the pants I bought for my job (when I first got hired 4 1/2 years ago) are no longer just right, too tight, or too small--they're actually baggy. Since my hips are the last place I lose weight, this is Beautiful news indeed.

New Website

Today's Beautiful Thing is finding a new website. I've enjoyed spending time at the BellaOnline Forums this weekend. Stop by. There's a lot of nice people there!

Gelato

Today's Beautiful Thing is a spoonful of tiramisu-flavored gelato. While I am not usually a fan of tiramisu, I am a fan of any flavor of gelato. The heavenly flavor brought back fond memories of our trip to Florence.
