"Fried" Bologna Sandwiches

Today's Beautiful Thing is "fried" bologna sandwiches. Actually, the bologna isn't really fried, but heated in a skillet. It's technically good old Oscar Mayer Bologna, but it's the 98% fat free kind because I'm on a diet. I guess it doesn't sound all that appealing any more to some of you. :) It was really good though. Two slices of squishy potato bread+ NF mayo + 4 slices of LF Bologna = 300 calories and 4 grams of fat. Heaven for this dieting girl who just had a root canal!

Book Dedication

Today's Beautiful Thing is my friend Chris. She dedicated her second book, An Unladylike Offer, to a few of her friends and I'm one of them. I just smile and smile every time I look at my name on the page. Thank you Chris. :)

Grocery Shopping

Toaday's beautiful Thing is getting my shopping done today instead of my usual Sunday! What will I do with myself tomorrow morning? ;)

Today's Beautiful Thing is a good book. I have a bunch of new ones--and I'm reading them all at once because I have no self control. :)

A good dentist

Today's Beautiful Thing is finding a good dentist. Two actually. Last week I went to a new dentist who referred me to an endodontist to get my old root canal re-done. The endodontist is who I saw today. What a great guy! And when this is all over, I get to go back to the new dentist for my regular check-ups and such. I feel so lucky to have these two thorough and gentle dentists as my new team. :)
