Today's Beautiful Thing is a red, red rose. I rescued a wilty rose from the top of the trash can at work yesterday. After pulling off one ugly petal, trimming it under water, and putting it in a glass of water it perked right up. Today it sits, half opened and fresh on my kitchen table. So pretty!
