Today's Beautiful Thing is bittersweet--spending time with Bubba. He's picking fights with Lulu, so he can't stay. We are sad because he's such a great dog in every other way. He goes back on Sunday, and we are making the most of our time with him. (Look at how cute they are together in the picture above. Sad that he can't stay. So sad.)

Lady Kenpo Nikita

Today's Beautiful Thing is Lady Kenpo Nikita, our sweet Kiki. This is the one year anniversary of her death and we are left with nearly 12 years of Beautiful memories. I love you, Niki and will see you in heaven.

Dotti's Weight Loss Zone

Today's Beautiful Thing is Dotti's Weight Loss Zone, a wonderful resource for dieters. My favorite part of the website is Restaurant calorie list. Since I started counting calories 11 days ago, there have been a couple of times I had to eat out at restaurants not known for healthy food. I visited Dotti's site before I went and wrote down the best choices, ate half the meal, and was able to stick to my low calorie/low fat diet. Thanks Dotti!

Nightly Walk

Today's Beautiful Thing is our nightly walk. When we first started walking every night (again) I wasn't very enthusiastic. Now I enjoy it just as much as Lulu does.
