Today's Beautiful Thing is a happy ending. Our neighbor's son decided to run away from home. We got in the car and drove around the neighborhood, to the local school and park. By the time we checked in, he'd already came back. Guess he figured he'd get home before he missed his dinner. :) All's well that ends well.
