Today's Beautiful Thing is being a daredevil. Ace has been told to get off the furniture many times since last Thursday, but he still gets up there. I do believe we have changed our "no dogs on the furniture" policy. Really, how could you tell this little guy to get down?

I can't stand how utterly adorable ace is. He just has the sturdiest, most confident expression in his eyes, as if he knows All Is Right With The World. He's adorable, in a completely different way than the equally adorable Lulu.

Liz, the rescue owner, described him as a joy and said he loved life. She was right on both points. We feel so lucky that she chose us.
