In honor of Atticus, a beautiful Boxer boy whose time with us was much too short.
This is my attempt to find something Beautiful in every single day. If a scarred and abused dog could fearlessly wag his tail and smile at strangers hoping to make friends, surely I can find one thing Beautifully noteworthy to write about daily in his honor. Pan's Labyrinth
Today's Beautiful Thing is Pan's Labyrinth. My friend J gave us the DVD for Christmas and we finally got the chance to watch it tonight. What an excellent movie! Highly recommended by both of us.
Wow, I saw it when it first came out earlier in the year. I LOVED THAT MOVIE!! Spectacular movie making. Trouble is, it was in theatres so early the Academy Awards committee are bound to forget about it. So glad you posted this! ... and so glad you have such a grand friend to give it as a gift.
